High availability

Infrastructure for high availability, sized for your team

Your technical team builds the high availability; we give you where to run it: several VPS or cloud servers isolated on the same node and a backup on another node. We review what you need together and you pay for each machine you order.

In short

At VPS Argentina high availability is built with several VPS or cloud servers (SH): we provide them isolated on the same node with a backup on another node, and the customer’s technical team configures replication and failover. Each case is reviewed with the customer. The cost is per VPS or SH ordered; an SH starts at $ 87,458 a month.

Updated

The high-availability setup —data replication, load balancing and failover— is done by the customer’s technical team. We provide the VPS or SH and the backup on another node, and each machine is billed separately.

High availability

What you get

Reviewed with you

Before ordering we look together at how many machines you need and how big, based on what your project cannot stop doing.

Machines isolated on the same node

Your VPS or SH sit on the same node, isolated from each other and from other customers, for your team to connect as needed.

Backup on another node

The backup lives on a different node: if the main one has a problem, the data is somewhere else.

Pay per machine

There is no fixed bundle: each VPS or SH is billed at its list price, with the VPSARG code applied.

Getting started

How to order

  1. Tell us about the project

What runs, how many machines your technical team has in mind and how big.

  2. We review it together

We confirm the VPS or SH needed, their placement on the node and the backup on another node, with the cost of each machine.

  3. Your team builds the infrastructure

With the machines delivered, your technical team sets up replication and failover the way it prefers.

Questions

High availability questions

How much does it cost?

You pay for each VPS or SH you order, at its list price with the VPSARG code. An SH starts at $ 87,458 a month and a VM2 VPS at $ 26,910. There is no separate "high availability" charge.

Do you configure the high availability?

No. Data replication, load balancing and failover are configured by the customer’s technical team. We provide the machines isolated on the same node and the backup on another node.

Can I mix VPS and cloud servers?

Yes. Depending on what we review together, it can be a mix of VPS and SH. Each one is billed separately.

Where is the backup kept?

On another node, separate from the one running your machines, so a failure of the main node does not take the copy with it.
